Tetra World Congress 2009: “TETRA: An Evolving Solution”

TETRA World Congress, the world’s largest TETRA conference and exhibition, was held in Munich on 26–29 May. The Congress, the year’s largest gathering of TETRA users, suppliers and developers, was a great success.

ElectrobitIntracom Defense Electronics chooses EB Propsim C8

Net Technologies and EB (Elektrobit) are continuing their successful sales cooperation, Net Technologies is a Sales Representative of EB Propsim series of radio emulator products, and this cooperation has now brought a success story in Greece. Intracom Defense Electronics, Greece's largest defense electronic systems provider, relied on EB for its emulation needs and selected the EB Propsim C8 with the help of Net Technologies. Read more

‘TETRA – The Winning Communication Technology for Professional Users’ Net Technologies’ Seminar

ElectrobitOn November 19, 2008 Net Technologies organised Greece’s first “TETRA – The Winning Communication Technology for Professional Users” seminar at the Divani Caravel Hotel, Athens. Net Technologies staged this pioneering seminar in view of the emerging need for up-to-date insightful information about TETRA systems, applications and trends. The seminar sought to provide participants with a rare opportunity to find out more about the latest developments in TETRA standards and technologies from leading professionals in the field.

“As an active member of the Tetra MoU Association, Net Technologies is confident that the TETRA communication standard can be the main telecom infrastructure for many Key and Critical areas in Greece and the region as a whole”,  stated Lazaros Karagiannidis, Net Technologies’ Technical Manager and TETRA Technology expert.

The event, fully booked well in advance, was the talk of the town. The participants were from a wide variety organisations and companies interested in TETRA, including telecom industry, the Greek public services and security forces, the Finnish, Canadian and Dutch embassies, academia, Athens and Milan airports as well as the major TETRA manufactureres. This, along with the profile of the guest speakers, made the event a tremendous success.

“The event was organised in an exemplary way. It offered useful information and stimulated constructive discussion”, stated George E. Dimitriou, Trade Commissioner at the Canadian Embassy and participant of the seminar.

Cyprus’ first telecommunications conference, Info-Com.Cy 2009, was held in Nicosia on 10 June, 2009.
