wisper© intelligent mobile information solution Wisper© provides a complete solution for the presentation of static and dynamic information directly to mobile devices. This information is stored in the application and the user can have access to it even offline. Whenever an online connection occurs the content is updated automatically or whenever the user requests an update. The content can be for instance conventional TV broadcasting or broadcasting of virtually any kind of event; such as concerts, sports & corporate events, conferences and the like. Also static content can be sent to user device such as images, text or video files. When needed, the audience of broadcasting can easily be limited – e.g. to be based on subscribers only or members only. Wisper© was used in the recent 9th International Telecommunication Conference InfoCom in Athens to broadcast the entire event. Wisper© combines state of the art technologies such as J2ME, Visual Basic .NET, MPEG 21, UMTS, Bluetooth, WiFi and Web Services. The system consists of the following subsystems:
