CCW 2019 – Net Technologies in Kuala Lumpur

This year, the biggest annual event of Critical
Communications, the Critical Communications World 2019, will be held in Kuala
Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia, from 18th to 20th
June, in the MITEC (Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre).

Study to improve coverage for marine and aviation needs for off shore areas, for Saudi Aramco
Net Technologies proudly delivered the study to improve coverage for marine and aviation needs for off shore areas, for Saudi Aramco, world’s biggest gas and oil company.
The work included comprehensive field measurements in a wide area in the sea, following a route and collecting data, analysis and prediction and suggestions for a new system to improve the existing network.
During the work, our engineers had to stay offshore for a week, installing measurements equipment on the vessel used and organizing the communication between actors involved,
For this work, Net Technologies cooperated with DSCO, our partner in Saudi Arabia and KBR Arabia.
The study and the new system will improve communication between offshore platforms and vessels, helicopters and ground stations and increase work efficiency while keeping highest degree of safety.
Saudi Aramco is the world’s biggest gas and oil company, offering a variety of gas and oil products.
KBR is a world leading corporation offering general engineering services for the biggest infrastructure and industrial projects.
DSCO is a specialized construction company offering general engineering construction and LSTK services in the Gulf region. Net Technologies, a leading ICT solution provider, offers a broad range of services in the field of wireless networks and secure critical communications, from feasibility studies to project implementation and project management, from network planning to final network and coverage testing and optimization. New Security/Risk Assessment Study
Net Technologies was chosen by Saudi Aramco, the world’s biggest gas and oil company, to perform Facilities Security Assessment for Information Technology and Industrial Control Systems for Ras Tanura Refinery Diesel Hydrotreating Unit.
Net Technologies will analyze risks and vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies to remedy all possible threats. The work is done as a part of GES services offered by WOOD, the international engineering company.
